Life is like a flowing stream - constantly moving and always changing.

To help you find and maintain the balance needed for today's hectic lifestyle, Stream of Life Yoga provides you with ancient yoga tools that help you to cultivate a sense of well-being and serenity.

What is yoga? Many different definitions of the word have been handed down over centuries of practice. "Come together," "to unite," and "to tie the strands of the mind together are some of those interpretations; yet another is "to attain what was previously unattainable." Just as there are several types of yoga, each of them unique and purposeful, so each definition of yoga is correct and appropriate in its own way. As yoga practitioners, we do unite or come together to practice asana (physical poses), pranayama (breathing exercises) or spiritual meditation. By tying the strands of our mind together, clearing our minds of clutter and calming our thoughts, we attain what was previously unattainable - a holistic and healthy relationship with ourselves, with others and with the universe. Our true nature awakens as we progress and pay more attention not only to the body, but also the mind and ultimately the spirit.

For this, you don't need fancy yoga clothes, expensive memberships or heavy equipment. Your best and most important tools for yoga lie within: a willing heart and an open mind. Throw on your favorite sweats, roll up your mat and embark on a wonderful journey of self-discovery with Stream of Life Yoga.
