Iron: the Vegetarian Way

Ironically, many foods eaten by vegans are superior to animal-derived foods. For example, you would have to eat more than 1700 calories of sirloin steak to get the same amount of iron as found in 100 calories of spinach (1 cup of cooked spinach, cooked contains 6.4 milligrams of iron).

Greening Your Life

Just like any other endeavour, a desire to improve your lifestyle requires some work. I know that I can’t fully eliminate all toxic products from my life and environment, but I feel like the changes I have made so far are making an impact on my health and the environment. Don’t get me wrong, this is not a success formula to live longer, stay young forever, or become a better person; but rather it’s an alert to take action to reduce some obvious toxic dangers in your house.
