Yoga Sutra Workshop Sun., 6/6/10 led by A.G. and Indra Mohan

Samadhi can only be attained by practice (i.e.: sited meditation). It’s a state of mind. We need to strive to find the peace within. “Can you search for something you don’t know?”….To attain samadhi, we must practice kria yoga (YS I.2 Tapah-savdhyayaysvara-pranidhanai kria-yogaha), which includes tapah & resist past conditioning.

Yoga Sutra Workshop Wed, 6/4 led by A.G. and Indra Mohan

The program will be taught by A.G. Mohan and Indra Mohan, who will be visiting from Chennai, India.
A.G. Mohan studied under Sri T. Krishnamacharya for 18 years and co-founded the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in 1976. He is the author of Yoga for Body, Breath and Mind (1993) and the co-author, along with his wife and son, of Yoga Therapy (2004). He has translated the Yoga Yajnavalkya, one of the most important classical texts on yoga. I attnded Wednesday 6/2/10: 6-9 pm
